Long day, very long crossings and our first big crossing in the fog. With a light onshore breeze and confidence in our navigation skills, we paddled for a couple of hours on our deck compasses and charts. Delighted when we made landfall precisely where we were aiming. The coast here was harsh and unforgiving, exposed to the full might of the Blatic, steep steps of boulders strewn with washed up timber. It was a very long haul before we made camp on a great little beach in the early hours, so tired, we had to eat a bag of sweets to get the energy to put up the tent.
