Having made the decision to commit to a very long and demanding crossing, it was with relief and immense satisfaction that the wind started to pick up and the weather worsen when we were only a couple of kiolmetres away from our destination: the island of Limön. We were greeted warmly by the locals who let us camp on the no-camping beach and were treated to a huge stack of firewood and the offer of a bunk by Ove, a local fisherman. The fire was great but the barbeque vegetables didn't do so well in the rain.
